AtCumberland School of Law had a class of 137 Juris Doctor graduates in 2023. Among those not pursuing a Master of Law (LLM) degree, an impressive 91.79% found employment within 10 months of graduation, indicating a robust employment rate.
Samford Online Presents Annual Faculty and Student Awards
Each year, Samford Online presents the Joe O. Lewis and James L. Treadway scholar awards to faculty and students within their undergraduate programs. The Joe O. Lewis Faculty Scholar award recognizes the excellence exhibited by the Samford Online faculty. Students are called upon to nominate one of their instructors who demonstrates superior teaching skills, exhibits concern for Samford Online students and the program, and has a supportive and respectful attitude.
Barbara Cartledge Reflects on Two Decades of Service
When Barbara Cartledge started at Samford University in 2004, Brock School of Business had two majors, two graduate programs and two concentrations. Today, Brock School of Business has grown to seven majors, seven minors, seven concentrations, along with the growth of the two graduate programs. With Cartledge’s steadfast guidance and leadership, undergraduate enrollment in Brock School of Business has surged by more than 150% within two decades and academic opportunities only continue to blossom.
